Rick will work alongside the children to create a stunning mural on an external wall, where they will have the opportunity to learn about and participate in the painting process using traditional ochre, just as Indigenous artists have done for generations.

For those who prefer, this creative experience can also take place on a large canvas, allowing for a lasting piece of art that reflects both tradition and contemporary expression.

Grab your dance partner and don your dancin’ shoes, cause we’re here to party! Starting off with a glowing LED hoop performance by Miss Fey Fantastic to inspire the kids, followed by a whole array of dance games, including how to learn some of the most popular classic disco moves!

The “Deadly Australians” is a public awareness programme, educating Australian children about the dangers of the venomous wildlife that inhabit our suburban backyards, bush, beaches, and sea.

This programme uses both live and preserved exhibits with extensive use of visual aids.

Interesting facts, curious habits and little known ‘secrets’ will fascinate the children, making learning both fun and easy.

Dash, toss and aim your way through sack racing, bean bag toss, slingshot target practice, and magnetic fishing.

Craving more action? Join the excitement with archery and racing competitions. Guiding the fun is Miss Fey, an expert at making every challenge an adventure!

In this high-energy circus workshop, kids will step up (literally!) and try their hand at stilt-walking like a true performer.

Then, they’ll spin, swish, and swoosh with vibrant silk fans, dance ribbons, and learn dazzling hula hoop tricks! It’s a fun-filled, circus-style extravaganza packed with laughter, movement, led by a performer who lives and breathes circus magic!

Learning circus skills provides a range of benefits to children such as increased attention span and focus, personal and social growth, mental and emotional health, all within a non-competitive and fun atmosphere. This game may appear simple however children will soon realise the many aspects that affect the Boomerang throw, including the strength of the wind. Children will learn that like spear throwing, the forces on the boomerang include applied force to launch the boomerang and aerodynamic force that returns it to the ground or hand.

Who knew that playing arcade games not only keeps children entertained but can be of benefit to their development, as players are required to react quickly to visual and auditory stimuli which improves hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

The Magic Pete Christmas Show combines the fun of Magic Pete’s magic and balloons with everyone’s favourite time of year!

In this workshop we will learn how to make our own bubbles, make bubble sculptures as well as giant bubbles! You’ll leave as a true bubbleologist!

Children will make a few different varieties including snotty glitter slime, impossible slime and bouncy ball slime, and you can take what you make home too!

The Balloon workshop is a fun-filled learning extravaganza where kids learn five fantastic balloon creations and at the end the kids get to take them all home!

Children will learn how to follow steps to reach a magical conclusion. Of course, the kids won’t notice they are learning any of this because they’ll be having too much fun!

Bedazzled is a magical and hilarious family show, brought to life by magician, illusionist and sleight of hand expert Daz Buckley.

Insects are the most diverse and successful group of animals on Earth – and among the most beautiful and bizarre!

We use stunning photographs and funny props demonstrate how insects breathe, smell and eat their food.

Explore their weird and wonderful shapes and sizes by examining cases of preserved specimens from around the world.

Get up close and personal with some of our live local Australian insects such as giant stick insects, preying mantis and caterpillars.
