The “Deadly Australians” is a public awareness programme, educating Australian children about the dangers of the venomous wildlife that inhabit our suburban backyards, bush, beaches, and sea.

This programme uses both live and preserved exhibits with extensive use of visual aids.

Interesting facts, curious habits and little known ‘secrets’ will fascinate the children, making learning both fun and easy.

Racing, carnival games and competitions, oh my! Start with a wide range of classic carnival games including sack racing, bean bag toss, slingshot target practice, magnetic fishing and more!

Want more action? Why yes, there’s also archery and racing competitions under the guidance of Miss Fey, an instructor with years of experience working with kids.

In this fun and high energy workshop, professional stilt walker Miss Fey will share her stilts skills!

The kids will then play with colourful silk fans and dance ribbons, and learn amazing new tricks with the classic hula hoop from a performer with years of experience and a lifelong
passion for the circus arts.

Learning circus skills provides a range of benefits to children such as increased attention span and focus, personal and social growth, mental and emotional health, all within a non-competitive and fun atmosphere. During this interactive workshop children will learn how to hula hoop, spin plates, juggle, walk on stilts and more!

After grasping the basics of these unique skills, children will then be split into groups and challenge each other in teams, to see who has mastered their new techniques. This hilarious incursion is led by a circus superstar and each workshop finishes with a fun hula hoop show.

In this hysterical incursion children will be divided into two evenly matched teams and compete in a variety of uproarious game show style games. Some games will involve individual talent, while other focus on team-based challenges or even whole-group activities.

Children will learn that like spear throwing, the forces on the boomerang include applied force to launch the boomerang and aerodynamic force that returns it to the ground or hand.

Who knew that playing arcade games not only keeps children entertained but can be of benefit to their development, as players are required to react quickly to visual and auditory stimuli which improves hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

These skills are essential for everyday tasks such as writing, typing, patience and problem solving. Pair this with a slushie or popcorn machine, some Karaoke tunes and you have the recipe for a great day in.

Minecraft is a sandbox-adventure video game. The style is called “sandbox” because the sandbox mode provides a creative landscape with no fixed goal and endless possibilities.

Children will make a few different varieties including snotty glitter slime, impossible slime and bouncy ball slime, and you can take what you make home too!

The Balloon workshop is a fun-filled learning extravaganza where kids learn five fantastic balloon creations and at the end the kids get to take them all home!
